Eat a whole Bakewell “party” tart (traditional or iced). The challenge itself is called “The Shut’s Challenge” as it was launched by Leah Shutkever (multiple Guinness World record holder, competitive-eater and Youtuber)

Time limit:     45 mins

Cost:           £50

If successful:  Name on Bakewell Tart Shop wall of fame

                  Entry fee fully refunded

                  Win a Bakewell Tart Shop apron*

                  Win a Bakewell Tart Shop water bottle*

* Or equivalent merchandise if apron or water bottle are out of stock.

If unsuccessful: Name added to wall of shame

Launch date:   Wednesday June 24th 2026 (National Bakewell Tart Day)

To enter eating challenge, bookings are not necessary but they are advised.
